My Confab presentation: Working with a Content Surplus

I’ve just returned from Confab Minneapolis, the content strategy conference, which took place June 3-5. What a wonderful experience — great people sharing and learning, plenty of networking opportunities over delicious food and beverages of all kinds, and the perfect hosts/coordinators/volunteers of BrainTraffic.

I was fortunate enough to be able to present, covering a topic close to my heart: managing the processes and content in a big, political environment. Here are the slides — please feel free to download them and get in touch if you have any questions.

P.S. Based on a couple of comments I received afterwards, I get the sense some people might feel that I like silos. This could not be further from the truth! However, I respect the expertise of the people who have been creating programs, products or services that have historically been created in a really siloed fashion. Does that distinction make sense?
